We target deserving families in rural and informal areas of Egypt, where there is no nearby source of clean water. As a result, residents are forced to walk long distances, wasting significant time and effort. To address this, we install water connections inside homes, providing them with clean water while saving time and effort.

Our first step was our initial project, which involved installing 50 water connections in Fayoum. This was part of our participation in the Khawatir 8 program with Ahmed Al-Shugairi in 2011.

Our Impact on the Community

• Installed 410 water connections, providing clean water to over 2,500 beneficiaries in 7 residential areas.
• 2,400 beneficiaries received access to clean water through household connections.
• 400 water connections installed in Upper Egypt.
• Saved 3,340 hours of walking that were previously spent fetching water.
