What is a "Water Well"?

A water well is either a shallow well or a well equipped with pumps that bring clean, ready-to-use water to the surface for drinking and daily use.

A single well can supply an entire village with clean water, protecting residents from diseases such as cholera, diarrhea, dysentery, hepatitis A, typhoid, polio, and many other preventable health risks.

According to UNICEF, 4,000 children could be saved every day if they had access to clean water.

Additionally, 200 million hours are wasted daily by women and children who walk long distances to fetch water. These hours could be better spent on education, work, or caring for their families.

We have installed 18 water wells in three African countries (Niger, Uganda, and Kenya).
These wells have provided clean and safe water for over 16,000 beneficiaries.
Bringing clean water closer to communities has helped them build a stable and secure environment. It has eliminated the need for long journeys in search of water, allowing people to rebuild their lives around a reliable water source.
